Tapestries - These are wonderful options for Wall Decor. They appear in form of artworks that showcase past events. The best of example for this is the famous Bayeux Tapestry which shows the Norman conquest of England in the 11th century. Tapestries are usually designed with special fabric materials. They are usually hung on the wall.
Candles have been womens favorite decoration for years now. Adding them to any room will make the whole house smell amazing. So adding them as wall decor will just add to the benefits. Candles come in many colors so you can find the best one to fit your color scheme of your wall decor. Pick out your favorite sconces and hang then add your favorite candle.
The Designing processes - There are various designing processes used in producing wall decors. Oil paintings is one of such wonderful processes in use by most artists today. This is simply the process of using pigments in painting and drawing various wonderful designs on the walls. Drying oil and other quality painting materials such as resin frankincense walnut oil and many others are used in the process. Different kinds of oils are normally used depending on the kind of pigment being applied. There are various techniques used in the painting process. Each technique usually involves proper sketching with a thinned paint and charcoal which are applied onto a canvas in order to get the right design in mind. In most cases the painting made on the wall with the oil is normally dried up through evaporation or oxidation within a space of one day to one week.
Bathroom Wall Decor - The bathroom is a comfort room that must never be joked with. Having a well designed art work on the wall of your bathroom can make bathing a glorious experience. There are wonderful wall decorations that can suit your bedroom. It’s always better to pick the ones that can communicate some soothing messages to everyone that bathes in the comfort room.
Architectural Elements - One of my favorite ways to decorate the wall is by using architectural elements. By this I mean old doors wrought iron gates corbels porch pieces - anything that you might normally find on the outside of the house can add depth and interest to your inside walls. When it comes to architectural elements the more wear the piece has and the chippier the paint the better! This aging and wear gives character to the piece and adds interest.
There are many other types of interesting wall decor you can use to liven up a room but the three listed above are a great place to start looking. Depending on your decorating theme you should be able to find something to match. Decorating your walls properly will help tie your room decor together and give your home a professional finished look.
